Landfill Disposal Services Near Denver, CO

Alpine’s East Regional Landfill is a municipal solid waste disposal facility, handling only non-hazardous solid wastes. It is permitted, constructed, and operated to the highest environmental standards under the close regulation of the State of Colorado, Adams County, and the Tri-County Health Department. Its three foot thick multilayer liner and leachate drainage system and network of monitoring wells and methane gas probes provide for stringent and ecologically sound site management.

We are located just south of the intersection of 88th Avenue and Schumaker Road in Adams County, Colorado, approximately 6 miles east of Denver International Airport. The address is 8201 Schumaker Road, Bennett, CO 80102.  The site telephone number is 303-685-2700.

We are open to the public and our customer hours are as follows:

• Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

• Saturday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm

• Closed Sunday

• With proof of residency (in the form of a property tax bill   or utility bill), residents of Adams County, Colorado, are entitled to half off the posted disposal fees for waste delivered on the second Saturday of each month of the year.
   

Our landfill disposal fees and policies are as follows:

Loose, Compacted or Demolition Waste	$26.00 per ton
Carloads	$28.00 per load
Pickup Truckloads, to Top of Bed	$44.00 per load
Pickup Truckloads, to Top of Cab	$50.00 per load
Pickup Truckloads, over Cab Level	$16.00 per cubic yard, 4 cubic yard min
Appliances (No CFCs Permitted)	$40.00 per appliance
Mattresses/BoxSprings/Couches	$22.00 per item
Trees/Stumps/Concrete Larger than 3' Diameter	$32.00 per cubic yard
Special Burial Service	$80.00 per load, plus disposal cost
Uncovered Loads	Double the rates listed above
Tires	Prohibited under Colorado law

These fees include the Colorado Solid Waste User Fee and the Adams County Landfill Tax.
                                                       

In addition, there is currently no charge for disposal of tree branches or trees less than 12" in diameter.

We offer free recycling drop off at the site through our award-winning Altogether Recycling® program. Materials do not need to be separated for drop off. The following materials are accepted:

Six-pack Ring Holders	Plastic Cutlery, Bowles or Plates	#7 "PLA" Plant Based Plastics
Syringes	Styrofoam	Plastic Wrap (e.g. Saran)
